Help Us Keep Listings Accurate
LocalVet relies on accurate information to help pet owners find the right care. If you notice that a listing has incorrect details — such as a wrong phone number, outdated hours, or an incorrect address — you can report it and we will investigate.
What Can You Report?
You can flag any of the following issues:
- Wrong address or map pin location — the clinic is not where the listing says it is.
- Incorrect phone number — the number is disconnected, wrong, or goes to a different business.
- Outdated opening hours — the hours listed do not match the actual hours of operation.
- Business closed permanently — the clinic no longer exists at this location.
- Wrong business name — the clinic has changed names or the listing refers to a different business.
- Duplicate listing — the same clinic appears more than once in the directory.
- Incorrect services listed — the clinic does not offer services that are shown on the listing.
How to Submit a Report
- Navigate to the listing that contains incorrect information.
- Scroll down and click the "Report an Issue" link, or click the flag icon near the listing title.
- Select the type of issue from the dropdown menu.
- Provide details about what is incorrect and, if possible, what the correct information should be.
- Optionally enter your email address so we can follow up if we need more information.
- Click Submit Report.
What Happens After You Report
Our data quality team reviews every report. Here is the typical process:
- Your report is logged and assigned to a reviewer.
- We cross-reference the reported issue with public records and other data sources.
- If the issue is confirmed, the listing is updated. If the listing is claimed by a business owner, they are notified and asked to verify.
- You will receive an email notification when the report is resolved (if you provided your email).
Most reports are resolved within 3-5 business days. Complex cases, such as disputed ownership or permanently closed businesses, may take longer.
Thank You
