For decades, Fort Collins nonprofit Elder Pet Care was known for providing low-cost veterinary services to area seniors — allowing many with limited means to keep their pets. But allegations of questionable practices at the clinic led to a state investigation and, ultimately, Elder Pet Care's closure earlier this year.
